Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Draft pending final legal review. This policy describes how FLEXMAX handles your data today. It is being finalised with counsel and may be updated before or shortly after launch. Questions? Email support@flexmax.app.

FLEXMAX is an independent, paid subscription tool for Amazon Flex drivers: one flat monthly price, 0% commission, and you keep 100% of what you earn. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It covers the FLEXMAX website (flexmax.app) and the FLEXMAX mobile app.

FLEXMAX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or Amazon Flex. "Flex connection data" below refers only to what is needed for the app to act on your own account, at your direction.

At a glance

  • We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your account, your filter settings, the connection data required to act on your Amazon Flex account, and basic diagnostics.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. FLEXMAX never sees or stores your full card number.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and this website runs no analytics, ad networks, or third-party trackers.
  • You can access or delete your data at any time — email support@flexmax.app.

1. What we collect

Account information

  • Your email address and the authentication identifier used to sign you in.
  • Your subscription status, market/currency (GB, US, or CA), and billing state (active, trial, cancelled) — used to grant or revoke access.

Flex connection data needed to operate

To auto-accept the blocks that match your filters, the app connects to your own Amazon Flex account on your behalf. To do that we process:

  • The sign-in credentials Amazon issues when you connect your account, so the connection keeps working. We keep them encrypted at rest so you don't have to sign in to Amazon again if you reinstall the app or move to a new phone. They are used only to keep your connection working, are never shared, and are permanently deleted the moment you disconnect your Amazon Flex account or delete your FLEXMAX account.
  • Your selected marketplace, region, and local time zone, so offers are evaluated in the correct market window.
  • Offer and block details returned during a search session (for example pay, area, start time, and duration) so your filters can be applied.

This data is used only to operate the service you asked for. We do not use it to access anything beyond what the app needs to find and accept blocks on your behalf.

Filter settings and preferences

  • Your filters (minimum pay per hour, warehouses, start times, block lengths) and app preferences — stored so the service behaves the way you configured it.

Usage and diagnostics

  • Error reports, crash logs, and basic technical information (such as app version, device model, and operating system) — used to keep the service reliable and to investigate faults.
  • Operational logs needed for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.

Payment data

  • Handled by Stripe — see Payments and Stripe. FLEXMAX receives only limited, non-sensitive confirmation data (such as whether a subscription is active); we never store your card number, CVC, or full card details.

2. How we use your data

We use the data above to:

  • Operate the core service — search for and auto-accept blocks that match your filters, in your correct market and time zone.
  • Authenticate you and manage your subscription and access.
  • Process billing and trials through Stripe.
  • Provide support and respond to your requests.
  • Keep the service reliable, secure, and free of abuse or fraud.
  • Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or profiling. This website contains no analytics, no ad pixels, and no third-party trackers.

3. Payments and Stripe

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. When you subscribe, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout — they are processed and stored by Stripe, not by FLEXMAX. We never store your card details.

FLEXMAX receives only what it needs to grant access and manage your plan, such as your subscription status, plan, currency, and renewal state. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. Prices are shown on our pricing page as clearly marked indicative amounts; the exact amount in your currency is confirmed at Stripe checkout.

4. Third parties and service providers

We keep third parties to the minimum needed to run a subscription service. We use:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Authentication and cloud infrastructure providers — to sign you in and to host the servers that run the service securely.
  • Cloudflare — to host and deliver this website.

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising. We do not use analytics platforms, ad networks, data brokers, or social-media trackers. We do not sell your data to anyone.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for as long as we need it to provide the service. When you no longer need it, you can ask us to delete it.

  • How to delete your account: email support@flexmax.app from your account email, or use the in-app account controls where available. We will delete or anonymise your personal data.
  • Connection data is removed when you disconnect your Amazon Flex account or delete your FLEXMAX account.
  • What we may retain: limited billing and transaction records held by Stripe, and records we are legally required to keep for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, for the period the law requires. Diagnostic logs are kept only for a limited period and then removed.

Cancelling your subscription is at least as easy as signing up — one tap in the app, or through the Stripe billing portal.

6. Your privacy rights

Because FLEXMAX serves drivers in the UK, US and Canada, we aim to meet the stricter common standard of the applicable laws — including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA, and, for California residents, the CCPA/CPRA.

If you are in the UK, EU, or Canada

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your data ("right to erasure").
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Our legal bases for processing include performing our contract with you (providing the service), our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and reliable), your consent where applicable, and compliance with legal obligations.

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA)

  • You can request to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and request that it be deleted or corrected.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that basis.
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@flexmax.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time frame required by the applicable law.

7. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic, access controls on our systems, and PCI-compliant payment handling through Stripe. We limit who and what can access your data to what is needed to run the service.

Honestly: no online service can guarantee perfect security, and we make no absolute promise that data can never be compromised. We work to reduce that risk and will notify affected users and regulators as required by law if a breach affecting your personal data occurs.

8. International data transfers

Because we serve drivers in many countries, your data may be processed on servers located in more than one country. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law to keep it protected to the same standard.

9. Children

FLEXMAX is not intended for anyone under 18, and Amazon Flex itself requires drivers to be adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact support@flexmax.app and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know. Your continued use of FLEXMAX after an update means you accept the revised policy.
